Ashley van der Walt is a Music Director and Worship Leader, and also the CEO at Ashfall Production Studios. Ashley has played Dota since back in the day when you had to download the latest Dota maps on warcraft 3. Ashley approached his long time friend, Stephen Lourens, with the idea to start a league and tournament based company in the game, Dota 2.

Stephen Lourens is a Architect at a well established firm. Stephen has played Dota since back in the day when you had to download the latest Dota maps on warcraft 3. Stephen Lourens is a well respected Dota 2 player, and direct partner of Ashley in this company, The National Tournament.

 

"We want to create an opportunity in South Africa for gamers to be able to make a living off of playing games, especially Dota 2. Our vision is to see gaming as a professional sport and career. We want to create a ranking system where teams can see their rankings, compete for a prize pool that can sustain a person in todays lifestyle. 

 

Our long time goal is to create a Dota 2 house, appoint a manager and train our best teams to compete in the annual International Dota 2 Tournament."
